(ICE) SCREAMINGLY GREAT DESIGN.
Scheme Designers will kick off their new product line to the Aviation press at the Oshkosh 2010 AirVenture
Monday @ 2:30 in the media tent with ice cream and whiskey (OK, maybe not whiskey).

Cirrus owners can quickly and economically spruce up their aircraft with new replacement decal kits

Cresskill, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/22/2010 -- Scheme Designers, Inc., the world&aposs largest provider of paint and decal scheme designs for aircraft, in conjunction with LoPresti Aviation, has developed a new product for older Cirrus aircraft; a range of new decal designs (sold as a kit) for quick, easy and efficient replacement of older or worn decal designs.

Cirrus aircraft are commonly sold with vinyl decals designs over a white, silver or gold base. As the fleet ages, the factory decal installed decal designs reach the end of their service life before the base paint, resulting in a worn or shabby look for a relatively new aircraft. It is not uncommon to see a Cirrus with cracked, faded, worn or eroded decals. Replacement kits from Cirrus Design are expensive and date the aircraft.

Scheme Designers has created 12 new decal designs specifically for Cirrus Aircraft. Each design is provided in 5 standard color combinations, providing a total of 60 options for a Cirrus owner to choose from. “Naturally, there are some owners that are going to want non-standard color combinations,” stated Craig Barnett, CEO of Scheme Designers, “and that is why we offer an additional option for each design allowing clients to work with us to create custom color combinations against their selected design. This gives clients limitless color choices.”

Scheme Designers has developed a network of paint shops to replace older decal schemes, or clients can choose to have Scheme Designers itself apply the new decals at its Arcola, FL location. Installation requires removal of all older decals, thoroughly cleaning and buffing the aircraft to remove any decal residue and to ensure a clean, smooth, unfaded paint surface onto which the new decal scheme will be positioned and installed. Installation time is typically 2 to 3 days. Any blemishes in the paint finish can be addressed at the same time by the paint shop. A complete list of paint shops is provided on the Scheme Designers web site at http://www.schemedesigners.com

“A Cirrus is a very special and innovative aircraft, and owners take great pride in all aspects of their aircraft&aposs fit and finish,” commented Rj Siegel, CEO of LoPresti Aviation. “These new products give owners new and affordable choices for their aircraft, providing increased pride in ownership and ramp appeal.”

The designs will be available to view and kits can be purchased at the Scheme Designers Air Venture booth (3056) in the northwest corner of Hangar C.

Scheme Designers has teamed with LoPresti Aviation specifically to service the Cirrus market. LoPresti is the number one supplier of aftermarket performance modifications for General aviation. These modifications include large component pieces which improve speed, fuel economy and of course appearance. Cowls, wing tips, wheel pants, splitters, spats, BoomBeam HID lighting, etc. number among those improvements. In most cases the purchase of these improvements is synchronous with new paint and new decals. Scheme Designers has joined with LoPresti to offer packages at a “one stop shop”. In recent years LoPresti has concentrated on large performance improvements specifically for Cirrus aircraft. Their innovative “IceSkates™” wheelpants and BoomBeam “TriTips™” are among the components which can receive exciting new graphic elements. “We are delighted to offer this service in partnership with LoPresti and look forward to the announcement of their latest Cirrus performance product,” (Shhhhhhh…..) commented Barnett.
