Jaishankar the Joint Secretary (Americas) of the Ministry of External Affairs for the sovereign nation of India.
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/7/2005 -- The United States has been given a failing grade for the security of the country according to the September 11 Discourse Project, originally called the September 11 Commission. “We are frustrated, all of us, frustrated at the lack of urgency in addressing these various problems,” stated former commission chairman Thomas Kean. Mr. Kean is a Republican member of the commission and former governor of New Jersey.

“What is truly sad is that not the US government, but every government in the world could resolve the issues facing them in terms of securing the world’s transportation system. The technology is available today”, said Dr. Philip Wainwright, Chairman and Founder of SpartaMatrix International, “We have the technology to secure air cargo, ocean cargo, ports… the systems are available if only the government officials will ask the question for innovative companies of the world to provide it now!”

Dr. Wainwright pointed out that SpartaMatrix had approached many of the world’s governments about the use of RFID technology is securing cargo, ports and the intermodal transportation system. “The International Maritime Organization’s (IMO’s) anti-terrorism requirements were to be implemented as of July 1, 2004. But that requirement has been pushed back on a number of occasions”, stated Dr. Wainwright.

The main requirement of the IMO’s new code is that an unbroken audit trail or chain of custody can be demonstrated from when a container is packed all the way to when it is released from the destination port. Wainwright said “SpartaMatrix meets verifiable chain of custody that the global compliance regulations now. And our Solutions include both commercial and military applications.”

“What this means is that by tracking cargo wherever and however it is shipped, keeps the terrorists from utilizing the world’s transportation systems as a delivery system for bombs or weapons of mass destruction. The scenarios of a cargo container containing nuclear material and it blowing up in a port or in the cargo hold of an aircraft and spreading nuclear material over a wide area causes one to realize that casualties could number into the thousands, if not more,” stated Wainwright.

SpartaMatrix has developed a system that provides coverage of cargo through the use of RFID tagging. These tagging systems can be used on containers, cattle, horses, chickens, even inert products such as coal and crude oil. By using its proprietary systems, SpartaMatrix is able to track an item through GPS and tell if it has been tampered with, removed from a specified area or not on a predetermined route and schedule.

The SpartaMatrix systems have an Emergency Rapid Response System (ERR) to tell operators how to resolve the top issues with the items being traced. The ERR will inform personnel of any precautions that must be taken with the products being tracked. An example would be a shipment of magnesium that could not be doused with water if it would catch fire.

“Today&aposs business and political climate demands reliable IT systems that address the ever more complex issue of security and it is time we as citizens of the world demand that our governments begin implementing the tools we have to protect us. Whether we are in our homes, in a jet flying across the face of the world or driving our family home in our car. We need to know now that everything that can be done to provide for our safety is being done, not just sitting on a shelf somewhere gathering dust because some politician hasn’t been given the right gift or a corrupt port manager has been given his bribe,” said the determined Dr. Wainwright.

SpartaMatrix Announces Contract Signing for Airport and Terminal Security

Brisbane, Queensland, Australia -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/13/2005 -- SpartaMatrix International announced the signing of a second agribusiness contract today with Malaysian fertilizer company FYB Organic. The contract amount was not disclosed.

SpartaMatrix will provide 1,700,000 RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tracing chips to FYB Organic. The chips will allow FYB Organic products to be tracked for quality assurance and for anti-theft of the company’s costly organic products. Exactly how the chips will be placed within the product will not be made public. It is known that the chips can be either active or inactive and easily traced by SpartaMatrix.

With the signing of this second Agribusiness contract, the company announced the formation of a new company called “AgriMatrix”. The new company will be based in Australia with additional offices planned in Kansas (USA), Europe, Russia, and South America. “This is exciting for us (SpartaMatrix) as we will be able to pull full time resources into the agriculture market place. With our tagging and tracking systems, we will provide security of product, faster delivery of products and give consumers the assurance that the agricultural products they purchase have been under scrutiny from start to finish,” said Dr. Philip H. Wainwright, Chairman of SpartaMatrix International. The tagging system for agricultural products can be tracked through different means, including GPS satellite tracking.

AgriMatrix will begin full operations in the first quarter of 2006.
Delhi, India -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/7/2005 -- General Counsel of SpartaMatrix is keynote speaker of the High Technology Cooperation Group on Nanotechnology, Defense Technology and Biotechnology in Delhi, India

“I know that we have the means to track and control the most fearsome storms… that of Osama bin Laden and his ilk,” said the keynote speaker of the High Technology Cooperation Group on Nanotechnology, Defense Technology and Biotechnology, Mr. Anoop Bose the General Counsel of SpartaMatrix.

Mr. Bose spoke on the important aspects facing the nations of the world today in regard to terrorism. “It is important for all countries to participate in the aspects of Disaster management, protection and safeguarding of defense installations and establishments, stated Mr. Bose. He also cited the extreme importance of satellite and radar surveillance of all commerce, including road, rail, air, and ocean transportation. He also said that “protection of intellectual property rights related to technology transfers” is extremely important and that these transfers cannot fall into the hands of terrorists.

During his speech, Mr. Bose cited the strides that SpartaMatrix had made in its fifth generation RFID product to aid governments in their fight against terrorism. Including improvements in high altitude, underwater, radar and satellite surveillance, and the protection of the intermodal systems worldwide. “Our systems provide the security that the world has demanded since 9/11 now. That means 100% compliance with international treaties, the new United States laws and maritime agreements for security over shipments worldwide”, stated Mr. Bose.

The meeting included representatives of many of the world’s largest and influential companies. Attendees were Mr. Thomas Pickering the Senior Vice President of Boeing, Anel Srikhande the Managing Director of Boeing India, David McCormick the Under Secretary of Commerce of the United States, Royce Kaplinger the Managing Director of Lockheed Martin, Gordon Healey director of Bell Helicopter, Robert Blake the acting United States Ambassador for India, and Dr. S.
